Call the fire of Elijah (Tittmoning, August 2009, orders: "

A different message began with an impressively horrible illustration. In some remote areas it is necessary to set an example to fight a rat plague: a rat is caught and burned alive. This rat then releases a cry that is so ear-piercing, that all other rats in the vicinity take warning and permanently leave the territory. Pierrot used this example to show what occurs when revival breaks forth: the fire of God falls, the demons learn of it and with flee in fear. Evangelists and pastors then experience no more hindrances and the harvest is completely brought in!
A true story for this was shared by Anna Mendes: At a place for instance, where she had a strong confrontation with a spiritual stronghold, those practicing occultism started to either commit suicide, kill one another, pack their stuff and go away… or turn to God!
We see this example in the Bible through the prophet Elijah: he singly confronted an entire concentration of demonic powers. He called the fire of God down to earth, and suddenly the priests of Baal were sucked of their strength. One after the other they were defeated without resistance! The fear of God fell on them and they could do nothing.
When God’s fire comes, the powers of darkness are destroyed. Their henchmen on earth (Baal priests, Satanists, followers of the occult) are then crushed like puppets whose strings have been cut!
The spirit of Elijah calls God’s fire. The spirit of Elijah is ready for a confrontation! We again need Christians who can show their teeth, who have the boldness for a confrontation, who have not allowed their teeth to be extracted by religious and legalistic powers.
Always when God plans revival, comes the spirit of Elijah. He comes upon people who have the prophetic anointing to call down the fire, upon people who are ready for a confrontation… (But do not make a confrontation, when it is not your task or when you are not on fire, that could get very dangerous!)
The spirit of Elijah seeks men and women who have prophetic hearts for confrontation. Do you want your city to be free of rats? Are you ready to receive this Spirit and call down the fire? Or do you still feel sympathy for the rats…? |
